Effective tomorrow, I am no longer editing Yarn Forward, in favor of other projects and my own publishing business. It was an amazing year, though. We went from 10 issues to monthly on about a week’s notice, expanded our social media outreach, published fantastic designs and editorial, and started a digital edition that reaches even more readers worldwide. I’m quite proud of my role in all of the above, and I am continuing on as an editor-at-large for KAL Media, Yarn Forward’s parent company, but there are other projects calling…

What’s next on the agenda? My publishing company has several books that are about ready to hit the shelves, both virtual and physical, my new LLC is restructuring how all my various businesses fit together, and in May I launched my own new fiber arts studio/workshop and retail/online shop called Knitgrrl Studio. That plus adding a second east side show to Bazaar Bizarre Cleveland this year will have me very busy for the near future!
